John will host both days of this industry leading conference. He will provide a neutral and independent analysis of innovations and issues facing injection moulders today combined with an unrivalled line up of speakers from select academia and industry experts.

Originally graduating as a chemist in the seventies, he moved into polymer engineering, taking an MSc in Manufacturing in 1994.

Eleven years with Battenfeld and five with Demag, both major suppliers of injection moulding equipment, provided the experience for him to start his independent consultancy business in the plastics industry. He offers support to a wide range of clients including large multi-nationals in injection moulding processing; trouble-shooting; process optimisation; production development; mould tool proving, qualification and validation; plant selection and specification; technical audits; tooling reviews; process training; expert witness. He has worked on a number of EU projects and is fluent in German.
