Griffle Games Releases "Freq Fire", a Music-Themed Game With Recommendations

Griffle Games releases its first music-themed game, "Freq Fire", to connect musicians to fans through game play and embedded recommendations.

Griffle Games announced today the release of the music-themed game "Freq Fire". Players listen to music they love and are introduced to new artists as they play the shooter action game on a scrolling music staff. Justin McManus, Company co-founder and President, said, "Freq Fire is the culmination of several years of R&D and data analysis, and the first in a burgeoning pipeline of products for musicians. We call our games and other products "connectors". Each connector is a unique way to connect musicians to millions of potential fans worldwide."

The Company's previous online games have been played more than 20 million times throughout the globe. Griffle Games uses the online casual game market to release and test new ideas as they build a portfolio of game-based connectors. Eric Henderson, Company co-founder and Chairman, said, "As a life long musician and a research scientist for almost 30 years, I love the concept of using the entire planet as a laboratory for testing and refining new inventions for connecting bands to fans. Of course, this technology spills over into other areas and we plan to expand into non-music connectors when it makes sense, but for now our mission is a laser focus on the billion dollar potential of indie music".

Griffle is using a combined top down and bottom up approach to building value, embracing high level business partnerships and working with individual artists and bands on a daily basis. Jason Shaw, Company co-founder and Vice President said, "By the time we meet in the middle we hope to have built enough value into our enterprise that we will be able to secure significant funding while retaining our central philosophy of independence".
