200 more Green Cabs to be launched in Delhi & NCR in the next quarter

New Delhi & Nodia (Uttar Pradesh), India : On the eve of Formula 1, Greenwheels EV Private Limited, a Delhi-based company, announced the launch of Green Three Wheelers “gcabs” at Buddh International Circuit today. The Green Cabs three wheelers run on electricity.

While announcing the launch of the ‘Green Cabs’, Mr Ajay Singh, Chairman of Greenwheels said: “ The launch of “gcabs” at Formula 1 is part of our relationship with the Buddh International Circuit to provide for clean transportation during the Formula 1 event. Also, this is a prelude to our introduction of these vehicles in the country. We expect that these vehicles will give the venue a clean and attractive mode of transport.”

The “gcabs” are the first of its kind of three wheelers in the country to have a built-in GPS systems, Fare meter with a print out and a back up call center for calling a ‘gcab’ on demand.

During the Formula 1, the ‘gcabs’ will be available for ferrying the audiences from the parking area to the venue free of cost.

Also supporting the gcabs service, the Company is providing Buddh International Utility Staff with 100 electric scooters built by the Company. The electric scooters are being used by the marshals and the JPSI utility personnel during the Formula 1 event.
