(I-Newswire) October 6, 2009 - Several recent studies demonstrate healthful effects of Graviola or Annua muricata in vitro as well as in vivo. These studies evoke the numerous therapeutically valuable effects of Graviola.

One of the recent studies conducted during 2009 concludes on the basis of its experiment that Annua muricata possesses anti-hyperglycemic activities or ability to reduce blood sugar level.

“Annona squamosa another species of Annua shows remarkable effects as antidiabetic and antioxidative, possibly due to its quercetin-3-O-glucoside content and these activities may mediate through its activity.” It is determined by research study by Panda S and Kar A during 2007.
