Grammy Award Winner Steven Howse Visits Compton High School

Grammy Award winner Steven Howse, also known as Layzie Bone of the multi-platinum group Bone Thugs N' Harmony, will make a surprise visit to the students of Compton High School on April 4, 2014.

Grammy Award winner Steven Howse, also known as Layzie Bone of the multi-platinum group Bone Thugs N' Harmony, will make a surprise visit to the students of Compton High School on April 4, 2014.

Mr. Howse will be speaking to the students about planning for their futures and keeping a positive mindset no matter what the circumstance. He will also be presenting, on behalf of his non-profit organization, In The H.O.O.D (Helping Others Overcome Differences) certificates of achievement to four students of Compton High School. These students have been recognized as most improved in course work and behavior.

This appearance is a direct result of the collaboration with Steven Howse and the Los Angeles School Tour. The School Tour is a Promotional Music Company based in Los Angeles that takes Major and Independent Recording Artists to High Schools, Middle schools, Charter Schools. They Lunch time motivational and incentive shows, No-Bullying, Obesity, Perfect Attendance & Good Grades Assemblies in various schools throughout California with performances by various artists.

The Los Angeles School Tour also is present at Community Events, Parks, County Fairs and a variety of special events around California and Las Vegas. The tour has welcomed many mainstream Pop, Rock, R&B, Rap and Latin Artists and Dance groups.

Mr. Howse will be gearing up for his European tour later this summer. This tour is just one of many tours for Steven Howse as he gears up for his possible induction in the Rock N' Roll hall of fame as part of the group Bone Thugs N' Harmony in 2015.
