Graduate Recruitment Redefined By Recent Graduates

Two young graduates are set to redefine graduate recruitment with their new company Witlr

Bristol (I-Newswire) February 13, 2013 - Witlr is a new website where businesses go to search for their next student and graduate employees. Before now there was not one place in the UK that allowed employers to find the right graduates for their business. There was also nowhere for graduates to go where they were sure they would be seen by employers, Witlr is the place where businesses and graduates can now find each other easily.

Witlr is different because employers will take the lead; searching through students’ detailed personalised profiles to find their ideal candidate. Witlr is cheaper and quicker for companies, meaning more employers will use it, opening up a new world of opportunities for students in the ‘hidden jobs market’ which weren’t previously available.

The co-founders of Witlr graduated from university last summer. Like many, it didn’t take long before they found themselves lost and frustrated with the current graduate recruitment system.
“Students are fed up of not having enough options after university” says co-founder Nick Guy. Through Witlr, students will have access to jobs and companies they didn’t even know existed. “We have ensured the process remains student friendly”, says Nick. “Students shouldn’t have to spend hours filling out lengthy applications and not get anywhere.” By creating a simple personalised profile on Witlr you will be showcasing your skills, personality and experiences to potential employers who are searching for their next graduate.

Witlr allows employers to find the right graduates for their business, making it perfect for those students looking for work experience, internships or graduate jobs.
