American Pillow Machine Company, LLC is now offering a fiber weighing system for use in blowing furniture backs, cushions and pillows. It makes consistent and accurate weights which saves time and money in manufacturing operations
American Pillow Machine Company, LLC, a manufacturers representative for nonwoven textile machinery is pleased to offer a new system which automatically weighs fiber from 8 to 20 ounces for blowing into pillow ticks and furniture back cavities.
This newly designed assembly uses a programmable electronic touchscreen which allows the operator to choose an unlimited number of weight parameters, or recipes, when changing between products. Laboratory trials indicate a running average of +/- 0.5 oz accuracy through a shift operation.
Cost advantages are created by avoiding overfilling fiber, creating better, more consistently filled product and eliminating extra time and labor checking product weights.
The system is available as a turnkey assembly consisting of new equipment which accepts fiber from a bale through blowing into the pillow ticks. Other options include a conversion configuration which can be retrofitted to many existing blowing systems. Reconditioned equipment is available for some components of the system which will reduce the initial capital expenditure.
