The V5IP-7000 platform is powered by one fixed and up to four additional add-on Xilinx Virtex 5 LX330 FPGA(s). This configuration provides generous amount of FPGA gates for any ASIC prototyping and IP development designs. The processing power is provided by series of add-on ARM Core Tile modules. The V5IP-7000 platform is supported by industry mainstream peripherals such as USB, Ethernet, UART, DDR-2 SODIMM, and TFT screen.
Availability of add-on modules such as DVI, ADC/DAC, Debug, and PCI Express expands flexibly and capability of the V5IP-7000 platform. The on-board expansion slots host these and any custom-made modules.
