"Organization to Open New 'Green' Entertainment Complex That Gives Back to the Las Vegas Community"

New entertainment complex will be LEED certified and give large portion of profits to local charities.

Go Green for Charity aims to enrich the lives of people in the community through the power of entertainment. This time, the group plans to give back to the community in a big way: by opening a new entertainment complex and nightclub in the historic commercial center. This new center will offer the premier nighttime playground for Vegas residents and visitors alike. Presenting a quality atmosphere based on sustainable design, the complex will be LEED certified as green. It will also be the first of its kind to donate 30% of its net profits to charity with patrons deciding which charities receive the money.

The new complex inside the commercial center will be 7500 square feet and feature LED lights, an LED bar, a revolutionary new dance floor that creates its own electricity, and will use wind farms for its only other power source. Bamboo, a renewable energy source, will be used to construct the bar, floors, and furnishings.

Patrons of this new nightclub will enjoy organic beer, rum, vodka, and gin. Draft beer will be served to save the use of bottles. However, the LEED certification and sustainable design of this center are just the start of what will make it a unique nightlife experience. Once the complex opens its doors to patrons, a portion of every purchase will be donated to local charities. With each purchase made, patrons will receive a chip. They can then place the chip in one of four containers that each represents a different charity. At the end of the month, the charity with the most chips receives 40% of the proceeds. The second, third, and fourth place charities will receive 30%, 20%, and 10% respectively.

"The concept is the first of its kind in Vegas or even the world. I wanted to do something different, something that is going to be a lot of fun, but also is giving back to the community as much as possible," says Owner Justin Campese. "It's a nice feeling to think every time someone dances or buys a drink they are helping make a difference."

Go Green for Charity is currently asking for donations to help with the costs of getting the complex ready to open. For more information or to make a donation, go to www.indiegogo.com/GoGreenCharity or www.GoGreenCharity.org . You may also contact us by email at GoGreenCharity@live.com .
