Dr. Merritt, who is a doctor of osteopathic medicine, came to Middlesex MultiSpecialty Group after working in several hospitals throughout Connecticut.
Gina Merritt's work as a professional in Connecticut began with Yale-New Haven Hospital. Merritt completed her residency through the University of Connecticut after graduating from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Gina Merritt agrees with many other doctors and nurses that residency makes up some of the hardest years a health professional will encounter. Gina Merritt completed the residency program in 2004.
Merritt has also enjoyed several fellowships, in addition to her residencies. She completed a Pulmonary/Critical Care Fellowship at Yale University in Connecticut.
