Therefore, Taiwan or China's makers could be our cooperative objects. When customers' needs are considered and satisfied, we won't confine Chief Ling to 'made in Taiwan only,'" said Mr. Wu.
Mr. Wu majored mechanics in school and had worked in factories for more than 20 years. He once worked in China, so he is extremely familiar with the industrial technique in both Taiwan and China. Until now, he has accumulated 35-year machinery experiences. His background brings him a great deal of technical know-how and sensitivity to products' formation and innovation. He can always comprehend clients' ideas in short time and propose creative methods.

There is one case of custom made hardware. Once, an American client told Mr. Wu he needed a device used to hold joist hangers while nailing. However, he didn't have any clues to its design, materials and techniques. Then Mr. Wu came out with an idea and had a deep discussion with the client. Soon, the final making and materials were decided. The cross-shape device has magnets used to hold joist hangers. Behind common understanding, it's very difficult to place the magnets inside while exposedness for them is necessary. Still, Mr. Wu got over it. "Excitingly, now the device is on sale in U.S.A," said Mr. Wu.
There're many other customers content with Chief Ling's customized gifts, such as the Saint Matthew's Churches in America. It's been more than 10 years from the first time when they work with Chief Ling. Now, they still place mass cross' orders with Chief Ling.

Manager Lai considers that well and deep understanding of clients' needs attributes to good communication. "It's more than business relationship. Once they bring up their problems or requests, I can learn them quickly," said manager Lai.
In 2008, American secondary-loan crisis caused an economic disaster worldwide. Taiwan is not exceptional. Yet, Chief Ling is barely affected. Instead, it created much higher sales than ever in last Nov. and Dec. when is the slowest season in Taiwan. Earlier this year, it even has reached half of the sales in 2008.
