Get Ready to Celebrate National Busker Ball Day on July 24

Buskers Celebrate Summer by Rocking Spike Hill in Brooklyn, NY.

The next Busker Ball is going to be unlike any other. Get ready New York to celebrate National Busker Ball Day with a blowout party on July 24.

"This is going to be big and you definitely don't want to miss it," said Theo Eastwind, organizer of the event. "While people can watch buskers on the street for free, we've taken over the hip Williamsburg club Spike Hill and asked for only a $10 donation. Who knows, that ten spot might just land you cool drinks, great food and you may even meet the love of your life!"

Ken Ruan gets the party started at 7:30 p.m. and he is followed by Emore Saylavee at 8:15 p.m. and Theo Eastwind at 9:00 p.m., then Cathy Grier at 9:45 p.m., Gabriel Royal hits the stage at 10:30 p.m. and Mr. Reed will bring it all home at 11:15 p.m.

"We have some new artists that have never performed at Busker Ball for this celebration," Eastwind said. "The talent we keep finding is absolutely amazing."

You know them. They are the street and subway performers that put a spring in your step on the way to work, home and play. Just looking for a few coins, their performances are there to delight, not to make them rich. Busker Ball has taken the best NYC has to offer and given them a venue to rock the house and have some fun. Best of all, it's only a $10 suggested donation for you to join the party.

Busker Ball VII takes place on July 24 at Spike Hill at 184-186 Bedford Avenue in Brooklyn. The suggested donation for the show is $10. Doors open for the show at 7 p.m. and more information about the National Busker Ball Day party is available at www.spikehillmusic.com.

Convenient transportation to the event is available by taking the L train to Bedford Avenue or the G to Metropolitan Avenue.
