Naked Pizza is a new concept to the Northwest, offering healthy and affordable pizza for many dietary requests including gluten-free, nut free and vegan options along with meat options like, Farmvil|a selection of ham, hamburger, pepperoni & sausage.
Another delicious eatery joins the restaurant mix at Kent Station shopping center. Naked Pizza will open Friday, November 9th at 11am and will be open daily 11am - 11pm, proudly serving customers.
For people unfamiliar with Naked Pizza, it is great tasting pizza that's also great for you. "Naked" means natural: no added sugar, artificial preservatives or "freaky chemicals." The crust includes 10 grains (including whole and organic grains) bound by water and made by hand, topped with real cheese and your favorite all natural veggies and hormone-free meats. Healthy and affordable, pizzas built for healthy lifestyles start at $6.99. (FYI, Naked Pizza is backed by Mark Cuban - yes, the outspoken owner of the Dallas Mavericks and one of the Sharks on ABC's Shark Tank.)
"Naked is about great taste, clean ingredients and feeling good. We took the junk out because it tastes better. No guilt, fewer calories, all good," says general manager Mark Sieber. "It's a pizza for the way people here live-who enjoy getting out, doing cool things and having fun. A way of looking at the world we call 'LIVNAKED.' Lookout! Seattle is about to get Naked."
Naked Pizza offers more than the world's healthiest pizza: instead of traditional soda options, the soda fountain is from Boylan Soda and is made only with cane sugar and natural flavors; basil is grown fresh daily via a revolving hydroponic garden and pizzas can be made vegan and/or gluten-free.
With 25 stores across the U.S. and overseas, this is the first of several locations coming to the Puget Sound region and the only location currently modeled as a sit down restaurant. "We selected Kent Station for our first location in Puget Sound because of the population density and the community. There are few options for pizza, and no healthy pizza options in South King County," says Sieber.
Naked Pizza welcomes you to stop by for the ribbon cutting ceremony at 4pm on November 8th or stop by anytime for fresh, healthy and delicious pizza.
