Georgia Nonprofit Organizations Receive Instruction on Funding and Revenue Sources

Atlanta, GA (I-Newswire) June 13, 2011 - Quinetha Frasier, MBA of Firstborn Group, LLC will provide instruction on June 16, 2011 with the Georgia Center for Nonprofits (GCN) from 10:45am- 12:15pm at the Equitable Building in Atlanta, GA. The ‘Revenue Sources Overview’ module will provide participants with a broad overview of the funding and revenue sources available in the Nonprofit Sector. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of how to maintain financial sustainability and how nonprofit organizations are better positioned to fund their missions.

Many charitable organizations have been affected by the U.S. financial crisis. Nonprofits rely on corporate donations and interest income from their endowments for special programs, operational support and long-term sustainability, as noted by National Public Radio (NPR) correspondent.
