For those that don't know-John Baldessari is an American conceptual artist. In his lifetime thus far, he has created thousands of works that truly display the power of language within works of art. He is a very prolific artist, and has been featured in over 200 exhibitions in the US as well as Europe. His works are still on display at many museums from all over the world.
And recently John Baldessari prints have been featured at his own show at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art titled, "Pure Beauty." The show only just ended on September 12, 2010. The works on display featured over 150 of his most influential works-including his work on canvas, photography, videos and books. Not only that but his work spans many uses, as he was the designer for the brand new LACMA logo that was launched in December of 2009.
