Gayle King On CBS This Morning

Gayle King joins CBS as the anchor of CBS This Morning as an attempt to revive ratings.

Hendersonville, NC (I-Newswire) January 19, 2012 - Gayle King, well known as the anchor for WFSB, has once again taken over to conquer the world. She has stepped out of her newly made home and is entering the all new CBS This Morning show.

Talking about her new career she said, that she feels extremely nervous, and is under severe pressure too. Nevertheless the new opportunity makes her feel excited and humble too. The fact that the show has a complete fresh look and the way it opens up, it makes her feel utterly satisfied. She guarantees that the audiences will be hooked and enraptured.

CBS has teamed up with Charlie Rose of PBS along with Erica Hill for the new format that is truly hard hitting, and they both hope that the show will be saved from utterly awful ratings it has been receiving off late. The show received lowest ratings in its slot consistently.

CBS has been missing the number one position since a long time, and is indeed mindfully working towards it. The show has a lot of stakes on the new avatar and is trying hard to turn the game around.

Gayle King will anchor the show in the slot timed between 8-9 am and will continue her position as the Editor At Large the Oprah Winfrey Magazine. There are rumors however that it is her connection Oprah that has got her the job at CBS. But King has cleared the point saying that CBS does not extend favors to relatives or friends of other people, and that it has no such way of working.

In fact King with three Emmy Awards, backed by another long list of special qualifications, has earned the award, and not just got it like that.

She is all set to explore the offer she has got without taking any chances. She is determined to win she says.
