High performance, cost-effective computer solutions to be showcased in Las Vegas, November 1-4

The show, to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center, will take place on November 1-4. GammaTech Computer Corporation will be exhibiting in Booth #11477.

GammaTech products are rugged, durable, and rigorously tested. They stand up to the most demanding situations, whether in the field, in an office, or positioned in a utility vehicle. The three models to be shown are built to Military Standards for drop, shock, spill, and dust protection. Models offer security features such as Fingerprint Recognition, Smart Card Reader and TPM 1.2 support – and can be configured to meet the user’s unique requirements.

The following GammaTech models will be on display:

• The U12C is the perfect companion for mobile power users on the go. The U12C features a 12.1” WXGA Touch Screen TFT LED backlight display that quickly converts into a Tablet PC. This lightweight powerhouse is encased in magnesium and has been tested to MIL-STD-810G standards for drop, shock, and spill protection and all of the unit’s I/O ports are covered to protect from the hazards of dirt and dust. The unit is powered by the Intel i5 processor providing maximize speed and data management. In addition, the U12C comes with a hard handle making portability a snap. The U12C offers a number of sophisticated I/O modules that can encompass everything from a smart card reader through an optional 2nd 2M pixel auto focus camera modules. It also provides a docking station as an option.

• The S15C rugged notebook comes equipped with the computing power and performance needed by the most demanding user and is designed with rugged features to protect the system from damage in the toughest working environments. The S15C comes with a brilliant 15.6” HD display and is powered by the Intel i5 and i7 CPU platform. Standard features include an RS232 Serial port, TPM 1.2 data security and a Smart Card Reader. System options include a Bluetooth 2.1 module and a 1.3 megapixel webcam. The S15C is encased in magnesium alloy to protect the unit’s vital components and is tested to MIL-STD 810G specification for drop, shock and spill protection to insure the systems reliability in the field. The S15C rugged notebook computer offers the power, performance and reliability you need in today’s mobile environment.

• The RS10A fully rugged Tablet PC is built to meet the mobile demands of true on-the-job portable computer users. The RS10A is designed for industrial and construction industry applications, public works deployment and anywhere where the work environment demands a reliable and tough computing solution. The RS10A is built to Military 810G standards and is rated IP-6X for dust protection. And with a 10.2” touch screen display this Tablet PC is ideal for computing on the go.
