Following their recent contract win with Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, Asidua's Customer Contact Platform (CCP) has gained a further success; securing its place on The Government Procurement Service's G-Cloud III framework.

Operating at the heart of government, The Government Procurement Service is setup to deliver procurement savings for the whole of the UK public sector. Their G-Cloud framework allows public sector buyers to choose and purchase services covering infrastructure, platform, software and specialist cloud services; with the key difference from other frameworks being the opportunity for buyers to pay for services as they use them.

Asidua and the Customer Contract Platform (CCP), the leading local authority contact management provider and platform have now been successfully placed on the G-Cloud III framework Lot 3: Software as a Service (SaaS). This follows in the wake of CCP being selected for inclusion in 4 of the Government Procurement Service 'Local Government Software Application Solutions' (LGSAS) lots [Lot 1: Revenue, Benefits and Finance Software Application Solutions. Lot 2: Performance Management, Planning and Decision Making Software Application Solutions & Environment & Public Protection. Lot 8: Waste and Environmental Health Software Application Solutions. Lot 9: Highways and Transport Software Application Solutions] in 2011.

With their placement on SaaS and LGSAS secured, Asidua's CCP has been making it easier for local authorities to improve customer contact, promote channel shift, maximise one-and-done, minimise avoidable contact and ensure that services are delivered effectively, reliably and with minimal effort.

Speaking on CCP's new G-Cloud III placement, Asidua Sales and Marketing Director, Bob McClean said: "With the continued quest for increased efficiencies in today's public sector, many are turning to cloud based solutions to help achieve the savings required."

CCP was developed with local authority efficiency savings and service improvements at its core. Now placed on The Government Procurement Service's G-Cloud III framework, CCP will allow local authorities to further tap into scalability and elastic services to improve their service delivery; improvements that can be rapidly deployed and at a much lower cost."

Bob went on to conclude: "Having successfully engaged with many local authorities including Chorley, London Borough of Harrow, Milton Keynes and now being placed on both the LGSAS and G-Cloud III frameworks, we look forward to helping others achieve the required savings and improvements in their own customer service channels."
