ProSlate™ 10D Combines Speech Generating Technologies with iPad Software for Innovative AAC Device

Mansfield, OH (I-Newswire) November 14, 2012 - FRS Custom Solutions, an industry leader in providing augmentative communication devices, will offer the ComLink ProSlate™ 10D augmented alternative communication (AAC) device for persons with difficulties generating speech. The ProSlate™ 10D is the first full featured AAC device to harness an iPad as its core platform. It is also the first iOS based device to meet all of the requirements of Medicare and Medicaid to be funded as a dedicated speech generating device.

The FlexABLE™ Handle and Stand creates an ergonomic solution for people with limited dexterity. It rotates and magnetically locks into position to support vertical or landscape use of the iPad. A military grade rubber and high impact plastic encloses the iPad, allowing for the demands of daily use.
