Chicago, IL (I-Newswire) December 6, 2012 - The Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC is actively pursuing energy reduction in all of its fisheries operations. As part of their energy reduction commitment, Freshwater Fisheries will be using eSight from Yorkland Controls to monitor electricity and gas consumption across all their hatchery facilities and to help identify areas for improvements.

Ray Billings, VP of Strategic Initiatives and Energy Manager at Freshwater Fisheries said, "We required a solution that could track our present and future energy usage against baselines and targets, help determine the effectiveness of our various reduction strategies, provide peak usage alerts and measure energy intensity. The eSight energy analysis suite exceeded our requirements and will be an integral part of all future energy reduction strategies."

Freshwater Fisheries chose to implement eSight to help further develop their position as a leader in freshwater wild fish culture and technology. With the help of eSight, Freshwater Fisheries will use the energy cost savings achieved to help them continue to grow as a successful non-profit business.
