Freestyle Life Opens Global Film Competition With Bilingual Film

2013, February 2 - The FreeStyle Life, the premier global film exhibition opens their 2013 international competition with Christian Cisneros' cinema verite docu-drama, Hombre Y Tierra.

The FreeStyle Life, the premier global film exhibition opens their 2013 international competition with Christian Cisneros' cinema verite docu-drama, Hombre Y Tierra. Through a combination of confessionals and stolen classified footage from the Belize government office, Director Christian Cisneros transcends genre classification through his stylistic exploration, MacAfee-esque adventure, and sheer panic. While conceptual, Mauro Bosque (Maurice Ripke) has already lured the audience in through his popular web-series that he hosts, Director Cisneros searches for more, and blurs the world of a Woodsman, Mayans Warriors, and Sasquatch.

In 2012, Cisneros was awarded the rising star award at the Canadian Film Festival, and Mexico awarded him the Golden Palm at the Mexico Film Festival. The FreeStyle Life's global audience will now have the opportunity to go in depth with the filmmakers through interviews with Christian Cisneros and Maurice Ripke, courtesy of CNN, PBS, along with other articles, blogs, and social media events that will happen over the course of the next several months to decide if HOMBRE Y TIERRA is really a terrifying nightmare or a dream come true. The audience has the honor of determining the winner of The FreeStyle Life Film Exhibition's Audience Award.

HOMBRE Y TIERRA makes its global premiere on February 2 at 8:00 PM on The FreeStyle Life Platform. Here is the direct link to to access the screen HOMBRE Y TIERRA - Feature Narrative - 83 mintues 58 seconds

ABOUT THE FREESTYLE LIFE FILM EXHIBITION
The FreeStyle Life Film Exhibition, which begins February 1, 2013, is the premier online film exhibition that features first-rate feature films, documentaries and short films from independent filmmakers across the globe. The goal of the exhibition is to discover and bring awareness to up-and-coming filmmakers and their projects. While independent filmmakers often lack a credible and authentic place to showcase their work, The FreeStyle Life prides itself on allowing filmmakers to present their work to not only their peers in the artistic community, but also the larger global community of film lovers eager to see the work of emerging filmmakers with new unique voices and visions.
