Ladd Family Pharmacy is committed to Diabetes and Heart Health. NOW offering FREE monthly Diabetes and Heart Wellness Classes designed to empower patients to reach their health goals. Example classes include learning how to Count Carbs and Correct Blood Sugars. Classes are held monthly from 6- 7 pm at Ladd Family Pharmacy! A further departure from the a-typical pharmacy experience is the kids play area.

A special element of Ladd Family Pharmacy is the ability to create customized compounded medications. As one of only two such facilities in the downtown Boise area, Ladd is excited about the opportunity. They can even bill insurance companies for compounding, something not done by several others in the area.

"When certain medications don't work for specific patients, I can create the compound in my lab that will help heal our customers," said Ladd. "That's a powerful tool!

Ladd Family Pharmacy has been PCAB Accredited for BOTH sterile and non-sterile compounding. Less than 1% of all compounding pharmacies have achieved this milestone. A new state-of-the-art clean room was recently installed in the main pharmacy area so customers now have added reassurance by watching how their products are made first hand. Ladd received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Midwesten University in Chicago and completed 2 additional years of residency. She currently serves as adjunct faculty to several pharmacy programs.
