Melbourne, FL (I-Newswire) November 20, 2011 - Dr. Filiberto began his Medical Degree in 1965 with receiving his undergraduate and graduate degree at St. John’s University in Jamaica, NY. Then beginning his medical school degree in 1972 at Unversidad Autonomoa de Guadalajara. In 1976 he became a Medical Doctor from the Hahnemann Medical College. Dr. Filiberto then began his surgical internship at Mt. Sinai Medical Center, Miami Florida in General Surgery. Moving on to his Residency in Otolaryngology at the University Of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital. Then Becoming Chief Resident of Otolaryngology at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA. In 1981.

In his career as a Doctor he has been Vice Chief of Staff at Humana Hospital in Sebastian, Florida. President of the American College of Ringside Physicians, Vice President of The American Board Of Ringside Medicine , Chief Physician for The Florida Amateur Boxing Association.

Dr. Filiberto also had career in politics. As the Deputy Mayor of Surfside Florida and the Mayor of Palm Bay were in founded several programs including Beach Bus Program, Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce were he was also the President. Along with the PAL Basketball League where he Coach several teams to victory.

Dr. Filiberto, spends a lot of his time with the Florida Amateur Boxing Association. Trying to get underprivileged Youth of the streets and learning to Box and compete in area venue around the USA and Aboard. He will be traveling as the Medical Doctor for the USA Boxing Team in the Summer Olympic in Beijing, China in August. Dr. Filiberto, Has a wonderful wife of many years Chris and 2 great kids. One in college and the other leaving for college in the fall. Dr. Filiberto started his career at lifestyle lift center in December of 2007.
