(I-Newswire) March 9, 2010 - Mar-Kov Computer Systems announced today that Recipe Manager Pro 2010 has completed the QuickBooks Technical Review.

Recipe Manager Pro allows you to create and track manufacturing orders and record actual ingredient consumption and bulk production against these orders. You can also track the ingredient lot numbers used.
 
You can print batch sheets for your manufacturing orders and scan them in once they have been completed so that all of the information about a batch is accessible from Recipe Manager Pro.
 
Recipe Manager Pro interfaces to QuickBooks. You can import items from QuickBooks for use while developing and costing your recipes. You can also export your completed orders to QuickBooks, where they are created as “build assemblies”. This results in more accurate QuickBooks inventory and costing, because Recipe Manager Pro tracks actual creation and consumption rather than assuming that the quantities consumed were exactly as specified in the bill of materials.
 
With Recipe Manager Pro you can specify more than just a bill of materials - you can specify processing instructions such as mixing and heating, in-process testing specification, and adjustments for your operators to follow and sign off on. These instructions are clearly displayed on automatically generated batch sheets.
