FORE School of Management, New Delhi has opened the admissions for its three-year part-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programme for 2014-17.
Online, June 11, 2014 (Newswire.com) - FORE School of Management, New Delhi has opened the admissions for its three-year part-time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programme for 2014-17. The renowned B school in the country has been offering this programme for the past 22 years, in keeping with its mission to promote executive management education. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development (MoHRD), Government of India, and has been well received by the industry.
Admissions are now open for the 23rd batch of the programme that has been specially created to impart knowledge and skills in the basic and functional areas of management. The programme aims to offer a formal management education to professionals who are already working as middle/junior level executives/officers/managers in public or private sector organizations. Since the three-year PGDM programme is part-time, professionals can pursue their educational ambitions and gain valuable management skills without affecting their work profile. The course is held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 06:45 PM to 09:30 PM and on Saturdays between 03:00 PM to 09:00 PM. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree from any discipline can apply for the programme. However, the degree must be from any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of Central or State Legislature in India; or, other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of UGC Act 1956; or, possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
Since it's a programme specifically designed for working professionals, those applying also need to have requisite work experience. Candidates who have a minimum 2 years of work experience after graduation as of June 30, 2014 will be considered eligible for admission. Applicants have to pay Rs. 1,650/- through Debit/Credit Card or Net-Banking. After successful payment, applicants will receive a system generated mail to complete the application process.
FORE School of Management, New Delhi then puts the short listed candidates through a selection process. This is done to ensure a strong batch that has an approved limit of 150 for the programme. A Written Test followed by the Personal Interview will be conducted on June 21, 2014 on the New Delhi campus. In addition to the performance in the selection process, a candidate's academic record and work experiences will be taken into consideration for admissions.
