Flash Programming - How to Win MacBook Pro in 11 Minutes

Software development company held a contest on new technologies skills. The winner takes it all.

Alex Winx, Macedonian programmer, has won one of world's best computers by publishing a screencast depicting his work on platform Mario-Style game to YouTube.

According to the rules of the contest, organized by software development company Code Orchestra and started in May, competitors must present videos demonstrating the applying of COLT's livecoding in development of Flash games and other applications in real time.

Code Orchestra would like to point out the following professional and outstanding ideas of the participants:

- user deepdesignkz for his experiment with music and visual effects using Kinect game controller and Away3d 3D-engine

- user iwantcoolname for his short series on applying COLT to mobile applications development

- and many others.

The first prize - the most recent and powerful MacBook Pro - goes to Alex Winx for the most thorough coverage of COLT's livecoding capabilities. It took him 11 minutes!

The second prize (people's choice) - the most recent iPad - goes to Sergey Gonchar for his amazing 3D graphics work.
