First Austrian 3D Musicvideo

Vienna (I-Newswire) August 2, 2011 - First Austrian 3D musicvideo "Chat online" uploaded by Viennese music & video producer ViennaCC on YouTube, a song from the latest album "Connected".

A few hours after upload YouTube reported a copyright issue to ViennaCC. The artist found out that the request came from the company distributing his songs. ViennaCC ridiculed grandiloquently on Twitter: "It's my music. Better listen to the music, not to attorneys!". Later he stepped back and twittered conciliatory words: “youtube-complainant: ok, sorry, guys. i understand that you are vigilant and have an eye on my rights. it's time to say thank you to you”

ViennaCC: "I am the first in Austria creating a 3D musicvideo. TV, Home-PCs, video editing software and Youtube is not prepared for 3D-format yet, but 3D is fascinating and is a technique of the future. I want to do 3D to see how camera movement, colour and light design and - not to forget - effects work on 3D. I am interested in something new. A new software is like a nude girl; some you install and enjoy to use it and some you delete – hmm, I mean software."

In the musicvideo "Chat online" ViennaCC acts in a dark cyberspace between server-cubes and computer-boxes with moving webpages in the background. ViennaCC has already produced a 2D version of this song in his studio. The idea to add a third dimension came after watching the movie Avatar. ViennaCC: “I said to myself: I want to do that too. But I have no Hollywood studio and no million dollar budget. The more I am musician and songwriter.”

ViennaCC, the man who sounds like the Beatles would sound today, is producing musicvideos for his own songs as well as interviews and videos for Austrian bands for OKTO, a local TV-channel in Vienna.
