Atlanta, Georgia (I-Newswire) February 17, 2012 - Firestorm announced this week that Firestorm Expert Council Member Don Donahue, DHEd, MBA, FACHE, has been appointed as an Advisory Member to the American Academy of Disaster Medicine.

The American Academy of Disaster Medicine (AADM) is a unique volunteer organization dedicated to promoting and educating physicians and healthcare professionals concerning the critical importance of disaster medicine preparedness.

AADM Advisory Members function as Advisors and provide valuable recommendations, direction and guidance to the leadership of The American Academy of Disaster Medicine. Advisory Members to The American Academy of Disaster Medicine are distinguished leaders with interest, knowledge and experience in disaster medicine and preparedness.

Duties and responsibilities will include working with the Academy to identify areas of importance to the citizens of the United States in effectively preparing physicians for future disasters.
