Finance Auto Sales Sued For Violating Lemon Law
Popular Torrance, California used car dealership Finance Auto Sales, Incorporated is the latest Southern California car dealer to be sued by prominent lemon law attorney in lawsuit alleging breach of the California lemon law.
Torrance, California (I-Newswire) June 20, 2012 - Prominent California lemon law attorney Michael R. Vachon, Esq. has announced the filing of a consumer lawsuit against the popular Torrance, California used car dealership Finance Auto Sales. The lawsuit is titled Medina v. Finance Auto Sales, Incorporated, et al., and was filed in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on June 13, 2012.
DETAILS OF THE LAWSUIT
The Plaintiff, Carina Medina, is an Orange County, California consumer who purchased a used 2006 Jaguar S-Type sedan from Finance Auto Sales on March 23, 2012. She alleges in the complaint that Finance Auto Sales breached the California lemon law by selling her a vehicle that failed to provide safe, reliable transportation. She further alleges in the complaint that Finance Auto Sales misrepresented the condition of the vehicle to her by telling her that it had been inspected and was in perfect mechanical condition.

Note: the Los Angeles County Superior Court has not yet made any determination of the merits in the allegations of Ms. Medina’s complaint, and Finance Auto Sales expected to deny all liability and wrongdoing when it answers the complaint.
USED CAR LAWSUITS ON RISE IN CALIFORNIA
Ms. Medina’s lemon law attorney, Michael R. Vachon, Esq. of San Diego, California, states that he has seen a rise in consumer complaints to his office in which a California car buyer complained that a car dealer sold them a used vehicle that became inoperable and/or unreliable shortly after it was driven off the dealership lot. In fact, Mr. Vachon estimates that nearly half of the lawsuits filed by his law firm in the last year involved California car buyers who either think they were cheated by a used car dealership or that the dealership violated California’s lemon law statute.
ATTORNEY ATTEMPTING TO CONTACT OTHER CONSUMERS WHO PURCHASED CARS FROM FINANCE AUTO SALES
Ms. Medina’s attorney also announced that he is currently attempting to locate and talk to other Finance Auto Sales customers. He is hoping that other customers who may have had similar experiences at Finance Auto Sales may be able to provide valuable evidence in the Medina v. Finance Auto Sales, Incorporated, et al. lawsuit. He is offering free consultations to any former customers who want to call his office to discuss their experience with Finance Auto Sales.
