Her first publication 'Grow Your Profits - Online Marketing Secrets That Really Work' has just been released on Amazon, iBooks and all major platforms.
With her new book, Kattan aims to move beyond being an internet marketing consultant to address the crucial 'third step' of online marketing, the step most SEO companies ignore - converting the extra traffic from higher rankings into actual sales and profits for business.
She was inspired by her realisation that many smaller businesses plunge into online and offline marketing without taking the time to ask and answer key questions like 'Who is my ideal client?' and 'What niche could I fill that sets me apart from my competition?'
Kattan is co-founder of Enlightenment Business Solutions, where a team of 80 experts in all aspects of online marketing, from ethical Search Engine Optimisation to E Commerce solutions, work to help small and medium-sized businesses go to the next level.
'Starting and growing a business is definitely high risk,' Hanan says. 'The statistics show the vast majority of small businesses fail within 3 to 5 years of starting. As an independent movie producer, Kattan used these methods to garner 39 million hits on YouTube for her movies, I Can't Think Straight and The World Unseen, which were financed entirely by women and written and directed by her partner Shamim Sarif.
Kattan has not renounced the film world. Her latest feature The House of Tomorrow is just releasing at festivals worldwide, and she is also working on producing Russian-set love story, Despite the Falling Snow, based on the acclaimed novel by Shamim.

A lifetime entrepreneur of Palestinian background, Hanan Kattan co-founded Enlightenment Business Solutions as an online marketing company that gives small businesses the tools for outstanding growth. It is the latest addition to her Enlightenment group of companies, which include film production, film sales, a record label and publishing arm.
Her previous businesses included creating her own hair care brand, Te Tao, that launched an entirely new category of 'premium mass' holistic hair products which Marie Claire magazine called 'beauty with a conscience.' Kattan grew the brand to $8 million turnover within two years.
She is also the producer of two feature films, The World Unseen and I Can't Think Straight, which have won over 30 awards between them.
