Feeling Hungry? Paddington Arms Announces Its Convenient "Gravy Train" Transport To And From The Restaurant

Of all Invercargill restaurants, Paddington Arms is known for its REAL gravy and now also offers transport to and from the restaurant with a confirmed reservation

Invercargill (I-Newswire) January 19, 2012 - Paddington Arms Restaurant, the only English style pub of all Invercargill restaurants on Queens Drive Bainfield Road Roundabout, announced a convenient service for hungry, and thirsty, patrons. The restaurant now offers its gravy train "transport" service to and from the restaurant with a confirmed reservation. The restaurant is known for its real gravy and now patrons can enjoy that and more with the convenient service.

Indulge in rich dishes like roast beef and Yorkshire pudding, Sunday roast Southland lamb, roast beef or New Zealand pork with all the traditional accompaniments featuring real gravy and even a spirit or two, all without having to worry about the drive.

"We want our patrons to be able to enjoy themselves and sometimes that enjoyment means not having to worry about transport to and from the dining experience. So we're pretty proud of our gravy train transport offer," said Graham Hawkes, executive chef and owner of Paddington Arms.

Of course the pub is known for its actual gravy as well. It's one of the only restaurants Invercargill has on offer that do indeed make their own gravy from scratch. It's a style that was inspired by Hawkes' mother's recipe with a taste that beckons back to childhood. Hawkes said Paddington Arms shuns the powered bullions, stocks and other packaged products that have come to make up today's gravy products. Instead, the gravy at Paddington Arms is rich and flavorful with no artificial powers, boosters or artificial additives. Find the Paddington Arms real gravy with its bangers and mash, lambs fry and bacon or slow braised meats and roasts.

Few Invercargill restaurants go to the extent of Paddington Arms when it comes to producing indulgent comfort food that evokes memories of childhood. Cozy up to the fire, grab a glass of wine and listen to some sweet jazz sounds. Comfort food just got a little more comfortable with Paddington Arms.
