FDM Group Shines as a Top Graduate Employer

FDM Group has ranked in the annual league table for the fourth year running; The JobCrowd's Top 100 Companies For Graduates To Work For 2014/15.

The UK's leading IT graduate employer, FDM Group, has ranked in the annual league table for the fourth year running; The JobCrowd's Top 100 Companies For Graduates To Work For 2014/15.

FDM has been placed above a number of large corporations including Accenture, Siemens and Arcadia Group overall. In the dedicated IT Services and IT Consulting category, FDM was placed second for the third consecutive year.

Described as the 'TripAdvisor for jobs', The JobCrowd is the UK's leading graduate job review website. The site hosts thousands of reviews, all written anonymously by graduate employees. Reviewers are asked to score their company on a range of criteria including responsibility, progression opportunities, colleague interaction, training, work-life balance and benefits.

The list is entirely determined by employee reviews, feedback and experience. Speaking about their time at FDM, one employee said, "Having graduated with a 2.2, I was worried I wouldn't secure a good job as the marketplace is so competitive, but FDM gave me a chance and I couldn't thank them enough for the amazing opportunities they have given me."

Upon hearing the news, FDM's CEO Rod Flavell commented, "I am delighted that FDM has been chosen as a top company for graduates to work for again this year. Our success is testament to the hard work and commitment of our staff, who have enabled the company to grow and continue launching the careers of graduates across the globe."

FDM aims to hire 1,000 graduates in 2014 onto its award-winning Graduate Programme, which uniquely combines industry recognised training and vital commercial experience.

Flavell continued, "I understand the difficulties graduates face in securing a job after university, especially if they don't have relevant commercial experience. Our programme aims to bridge the gap between academia and the workplace by equipping our trainees with the professional and technical skills needed in today's working world."

FDM's graduate employees are trained for 8-16 weeks at one of the firm's award-winning Academies worldwide. As a trainee, graduates will be trained in one of seven core disciplines, including Development, Testing and Project Management, before becoming a Consultant representing FDM on site with one or more of their prestigious clients.
