Fantacy Prom Scholarship Program Begins at Dinuba High School

Online, April 4, 2013 (Newswire.com) - Thanks to a generous donation by Vanity's World located in Reedley,Ca., four deserving high school senior girls will be going to their Senior Prom. The four met the requirements outlined by Vanity and were accepted into the Fantacy Prom Scholarship Program. All four exceeded expectations, and were all declared winners!

Vanity, the owner of Vanity's World explained that she saw a need to help reward deserving girls who achieved so much academically, but were struggling financially. This scholarship allows the winner to be able to attend the Prom. "For many girls the Senior Prom is the highlight of their high school careers. In my business i specialize in creating a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We offer Quinceanera, Prom, and Wedding dresses. In addition, we will do hair and makeup for premium package purchases. I felt that I might be able to help a great young lady by helping her achieve her dream prom. I also feel it is important to hopefully help the winner by providing information that would help her to have continued success at the university level". explained Vanity. It is Vanity's hope that this program can be expanded to other local high schools so additional deserving high school girls can realize their dreams. All four candidates were required to attend five two-hour sessions in which the candidates were introduced to many topics not normally covered in the high school curriculum. The topics ranged from business plan basics to learning time management skills. All sessions were interactive, and all four girls participated freely in the discussions. There was a final exam in which the passing grade to qualify for a free prom dress was 90%. Since all four girls well exceeded this standard, Vanity rewarded all four with a new prom dress and will do each girl's hair and make-up on the big day! All four commented on how this experience far exceeded their expectations, and how grateful each was to have been so fortunate to have been given the chance to participate. Each girl also commented on how they now feel better prepared to achieve success at the university level, and in life. This is the ultimate reward for all involved.
