The Paranormal Activity series focuses on the lives of two sisters Katie (Katie featherston) and Kristi (Jessica Tyler Brown) and reveals the strange possessions and activities of a demon through their lives. The first film shows Katie recording the activities of the demon in her new home with boyfriend Micah (Micah Sloat). The second and third films are set before the first film and focus on when the demon first entered the lives of Katie and Kristi and began to take hold of them.

Paranormal Activity 4 follows on from the end of the second film. This sees a young boy Hunter, now Robbie (Brady Allen), and original character Katie living next door to another family. The family end up having to take in the young boy after his mother goes into hospital, and soon after strange occurrences begin, with lights flickering on and off and a huge figure haunting new lead Alice (Kathryn Newton).

The Paranormal Activity series has gone from strength to strength since the original's release. This latest addition to the series is highly anticipated and many people are excited about seeing it.
