Expandable Photography Studio - Suitcase To Studio in 3 Minutes

The newly, and anticipated, Expandable Photography Studio (EPS2) releases July 15, 2011.

Dallas, Texas (I-Newswire) April 17, 2011 - Massiera Industries, LLC (previously IPS) has turned a fork in the road and began a venture into "expandable structure technology". A relatively new form of mechanical engineering being used with NASA and architecture in the Middle East, expanding structures use various forms, materials, and concepts to make something very small, very large and structurally sound. A perfect example of this would be the Hoberman Sphere. Massiera Industries has recently announced a release date for its EPS2 (Expanding Photography Studio) which used air to expand from the size of a suitcase to a 20ft x 15ft x 13 foot studio in 3 minutes. Made of a fire retardant (self extinguishing), UV, light blocking, white PVC/ Vinyl material the EPS is light, durable, compact, and most importantly, affordable. The concept was originally designed and patented in 2010 by professional photographer, Brian Hedenberg, was tired of paying high studio rental prices in New York City and was innovative enough to create a simple, but affective, alternative. Within a few days of launching a poor and faulty website in October, Hedenberg's creation went viral with international write up in Gizmodo, CNET, Wired, all the way around the world to Japanese and belgium business magazines. The only problem was there was no information about the product on the website which made it an easy target for skepticism. The website was quickly pulled down, redesigned, patented, and relaunched several months later with a material that was specifically engineered for the EPS's purposes. Massiera claims that by the time the EPS9 is release the unit will self expand from its own hard case without using air, have its own unique structure deign, hard flooring, cybernating, and will even go so far as to refold itself back up into its own case ready for easy transport. The company is also working with several mechanical engineers to develop a structure that goes from suitcase to fully functioning operating room that could be deployed from over the top of a disaster area, like Japan, Haiti, or far reaching areas in Africa, where a doctor would need a sterile environment to work with no time to transport anyone out, or anything in.

The EPS2 releases on July 15, however Massiera Industries is allowing discounts for early purchases. Hundreds of people from South Africa to Europe to South America up to the United States have already started reserving their units on the buzz alone. The Expandable Photography Studio will start reshaping how photographers work around the globe.
