MYTH 51 - Only women can have breast cancer

Myth BUSTER - Although it occurs much less frequently, accounting for only about one percent of all cases, men can also have breast cancer. Many people do not realize that men have breast tissue and that they can also develop breast cancer.

MYTH 61- If you have smoked a long time, quitting now won't help

Myth BUSTER - According to Dr Curtis Rimmererman, MD, your heart attack risk begins to decline the moment you quit smoking. Even your risk of lung, bladder, mouth, breast and colon cancer reduces. You can eventually reduce some risks to levels approaching those of someone who never smoked.
