Ethinos was declared winner of the Manthan Award South Asia and Pacific, Digital Inclusion for Development, 2013. The winners of the Manthan Award were declared in a glittering ceremony held in Delhi, on the 05th and 6th December, 2013.
The Manthan Award is a first of its kind award, launched in 2004, that recognizes the best use of internet and communication technology and digital tools to create a holistic and comprehensive impact on people. The focus is less on technology, and more on a creative use that resonates with the people.
Ethinos won the award for its campaign, India Cheers Loud and Clear; which met the dual objectives of promoting the Olympic Games 2012 and the Indian athletes participating, as well as building awareness and support for Olympic Gold Quest, the NGO whose initiative it was. Apart from winning the Manthan Award South Asia and Asia Pacific, the campaign was also a finalist for the Manthan Award for Social Media and Empowerment in India.

The awards ceremony was also accompanied by a series of sessions that aimed at sharing relevant, useful information about using the internet and online tools; and their use across sectors like tourism, education, healthcare, agriculture and ecology, and many others. The session on 'Digitally Enabled Practices for Culture, Tourism, Entertainment, and Games; saw Siddharth Hegde, Managing Director, Ethinos Digital Marketing present some best practices and insights for promoting sports and events on social media. He shared his key learnings from the India Cheers Loud and Clear campaign, which could be adapted and applied to social media activities for other business verticals too.
