Entire Music Video Shot On An I-Phone

Singer Songwriter, Emilio Basa, shoots his entire music video on an iPhone. This is a groundbreaking video because no one is using the iPhone for this purpose. Basa hopes to inspire more artists to think outside the box.

Detroit, MI (I-Newswire) October 18, 2011 - Independent singer songwriter, Emilio Basa, just shot his music video for his song, Poor Boy, with an iPhone. With small budgets and big ideas, Basa is using the technology of the iPhone in creative ways. Apple and Steve Jobs probably wouldn’t have it any other way.

The shooting of the video spanned 4 days and 4 different location spots. With the concept, direction and editing coming from fellow singer songwriter, Mayaeni, they were able to accomplish a groundbreaking video. With the video being shot on an iPhone and then edited on a Mac with the program, iMovie, the capabilities of these products give artists on a budget an opportunity to make quality videos to bring their songs to life.

“I think this video is one of a kind because we needed creativity, ingenuity and because we shot it on an iPhone. We had to use different shooting methods, camera angles, and edits to keep the viewer engaged,” Basa said. “We also didn't have much of a budget so using the iPhone was a perfect idea. We have so much technology that we can use to our advantage. We just took what we were given and we came out with a great video. I hope this video inspires more artists to get creative and keep pushing the envelope."

The Poor Boy music video can be found on Basa’s website (www.emiliobasa.com), YouTube, and Vimeo. The song is also available for a FREE download on www.emiliobasa.com

Basa is an independent singer/songwriter from the Detroit area. Poor Boy is the second single available on Basa's debut album, To The End. The album is available on iTunes and also on CDBaby.com.
