Entertainment Promoter Creates Awareness As Bounce The Cat

Online, September 22, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Internet Marketing Specialist and Entertainment Promoter, Rick Perry has moved to Salisbury from Palm Coast, FL. He is the owner of Bounce The Cat Productions, a company that specializes in Social Media and Internet Marketing for Entertainers and Small Businesses.

Perry started marketing on the Internet during it's infancy in 1996 as an entertainment promoter, and sold his first website development company in 2000 to BestNetPC, a Florida based ISP. In 2002 he returned to manage the company he helped develop while he continued promoting music.

As a promoter in Florida, Mr. Perry was responsible for the production and promotion of numerous Spring Break, Race Week (including the main stage at Daytona International Speedway), Bike Week & Biketoberfest concert series. Perry has worked as promoter, representative or agent for many bands, including members of Megadeth, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, Pat Travers, Rick Derringer, Foghat, Marshall Tucker Band, Allman Bros. Band, 38 Special and Matchbox 20, to name a few.

In 2004 Perry left entertainment for a more lucrative position, "basically doing the same thing I did for bands, but for presidents and CEOs of corporations" that were looking to raise venture capital and take their companies public. "I would interview the principal players of a corporation or business and then put together a program that they could take on the road and present in front of potential investors", explains Perry. He says he literally worked himself sick, until he found himself in the hospital suffering from a "Kidney Attack" brought on due to an undiagnosed, preexisting blood clotting disorder.
