Basketball in England will be focusing on news and updates about GB basketball and 2012 Olympic Basketball in London, England

(I-Newswire) August 30, 2010 - It looks like the Great Britain basketball team is working hard to build a large fan base because of the new campaigns to raise team morale, and funding. The team was formed on December 1st, 2005 when London secured the 2012 Olympics.

Just because they are gaining support - doesn't mean they get a free meal ticket to the Olympics. It is up to the fans to push the team to work hard and qualify for the Olympics. They need to place in the "Eurobasket", a campaign that begins this coming August (2011).

Great Britain has struggled to build a fan base and attract fans to games, get them hyped, buy merchandise, and overall just support the team. There is a new website spreading the word about the righteous cause called - http://www.basketballinengland.com/

The new site will be covering the World Basketball Championships in Turkey and the Great Britain's European Qualifiers for a chance to play in the Olympics in London. The new site will be raising the overall awareness of the sport and it will cover anything to do with basketball in GB.
