Employees of Laboratory Testing Inc. Earn Second Company Trip

Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) recognized its employees' dedication to reaching company sales goals in each of the past five years with an all-expense-paid July trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Hatfield, PA (I-Newswire) July 24, 2013 - Over the Independence Day holiday, Laboratory Testing Inc. (LTI) of Hatfield, PA treated the company's employees to a fully-paid vacation to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Employees of LTI were flown to the island and provided with accommodations at the Melia Caribe Tropical all-inclusive beach resort as a reward for exceeding sales goals during the previous five years.

This is the second time in five years that Laboratory Testing Inc. has sent its employees on a fully paid vacation. Each trip was a gift from the owners of LTI to the staff for exceeding the company's annual goals five years in a row. The first five-year challenge was announced in early 2003 and achieved when the 2007 year-end financial results were revealed. During the week of July 4th, 2008, the staff of Laboratory Testing Inc. took a five-day Bermuda cruise on the Royal Caribbean ship, Explorer of the Seas. During a company meeting on the cruise ship, LTI president Mike McVaugh made another offer of a company trip, if the sales goals were again reached or exceeded over the next five years. After successfully meeting the second challenge at the end of 2012, the Punta Cana trip was planned for this year's July 4th holiday weekend.

"The success of LTI depends so highly on the dedication and hard work of our employees", said Mike McVaugh. He is also quick to recognize the important role that LTI customers have played in the success of the company. "We are not only fortunate to have a great group of employees, but also a loyal customer base."

Since the first offer was announced in 2003, Laboratory Testing Inc. has grown from 80 employees to a staff of 145 in 2013. The company was started in 1984 by Robert W. McVaugh, Sr. and is now run by two of his children, Mike and Joan McVaugh.
