Emergency Medicine Physicians (EMP) is pleased to announce that we will begin emergency department services at Sharon Regional Health System located in Sharon, Pennsylvania, on April 1, 2011.

Canton, Ohio (I-Newswire) May 13, 2011 - Expanded services are offered at the Emergency Care Center at Sharon Regional Health System, the most advanced emergency medical facility in Mercer County, Pennsylvania. This ultramodern center has more than doubled in size and offers highly specialized areas for the treatment of virtually every type of emergency situation. Special areas include trauma rooms, chest pain rooms (Mercer County's only facility for advanced heart attack care), an isolation room and the County's only hazardous materials decontamination room. Sharon Regional Health System also offers an EMS Educational Institute and Telemedicine to link specialists via computers and telephone. The system also has an Express Care for minor illnesses and injuries.

Sharon Regional Health System provides emergent and urgent care services to approximately 35,000 patients annually through their Emergency Department and Urgent Care centers. Emergency Medicine Physicians is proud to begin partnership with the community of Mercer County Pennsylvania and the Sharon Regional Health System.
