Elite Investment Group Launches First Of Five Koh Samui Property Developments

(I-Newswire) March 18, 2010 - After nearly two years of planning, Eco Developments Siam in conjunction with Elite Investment Group are set to launch what will be one out of five luxury developments in the beautiful island of Koh Samui. With an outstanding project team to include The Beaumont Partnership, EEC Lincolne Scott, Geoff Warnes and Associates and BDO Richfield to name a few, the team is set to begin construction on nine luxury villas in Cheong Mon by April 1, 2010.

Elite Investment Group with its head office located in Shanghai, China has been appointed by Eco Developments Siam as the master agent and investment advisory firm for all five of the developments, and recently appointed Hospitality and Management Samui (HMS) will take control of the operations and management for the luxury resort once completed.

Off plan property in Koh Samui, Thailand in the past has been considered to be extremely risky for investors due to the lack of regulation on new builds as well as the saturation of inexperienced property developers on the island. For these reasons alone, Elite Investment Group has advised that an escrow arrangement be put in place in order to facilitate all transactions between the developers and investors in order to give them piece of mind throughout the build cycle. Transactions will be managed and secured through NSP & Laws.

With the Koh Samui property market well stabilized from recent political turmoil, The Trees is set to launch just in time to take advantage of Thailand's next economic rally. Leading property experts on Koh Samui predict prices will double over the next 3-5 years. Indicators such as an increase in tourist numbers, luxury hotel projects, island infrastructure improvements, new flights from major cities, and the government’s commitment to make Koh Samui a high end international tourist destination all point the way to strong capital growth. The Trees will be rented as boutique, up market villas with 24 hours services. Revenue earned from all villas will be pooled and the total net profit will divided equally amongst all owners regardless of the actual occupancy of their own villa. The property is projected to operate at 45% operating costs leaving 55% total revenue of which 70% will be given to owners and the remaining 30% to management.

Phase one of "The Trees" will be released exclusively to Elite Investment Group members and clients prior to becoming available to the general public. All nine villas are expected to be completed twelve months from the date construction begins.
