Eight New Workshops Announced for Myers-Briggs Training Program in 2012

Edmonton, Alberta (I-Newswire) November 2, 2011 - Psychometrics Canada, a leading assessment publisher and consultant for the development and selection of people in business, government and education, today announced dates for the Canadian 2012 Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) training program (http://www.psychometrics.com/en-us/training.htm). The program includes MBTI Step 1 & Step 2 Certification and eight new advanced workshops. The MBTI Certification (http://www.psychometrics.com/en-us/mbti_certification.htm) program teaches human resource, training and organizational development professionals and counsellors how to successfully administer and interpret MBTI® Step 1 and Step 2 assessments and reports.

Upon successful completion of the MBTI Step 1 & 2 Certification workshop, participants receive a MBTI Step 1 Certificate and a MBTI Step 2 Certificate of completion, which enables them to purchase and use all the MBTI Step 1 and Step 2 assessments and reports. Additionally it qualifies for CHRP recertification points from the Human Resource Professionals Association.

Advanced workshops include how to use the MBTI assessment in leadership development, facilitating workplace change, conflict resolution, team development, communication, stress management and career direction. For the first time in Canada, the training program schedule will include workshops on the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument (TKI), and the FIRO-B®; teaching participants how to use each assessment on its own and in combination with the MBTI tool.
