Noida (I-Newswire) November 30, 2011 - New Delhi: A recent survey by Jeevansathi.com on factors taken into consideration while looking for a prospective life partner revealed that Religion and Manglik/Non Manglik statuses though are important factors in arranged marriages Educational Qualifications of men and Physical Appearance of women tops the list of most preferred qualities while evaluating a prospective match. Of the male respondents who took the survey 38% said that physical appearance of the bride is a key factor considered by them when looking for a life partner. Education of the girl also emerges important with 32% of men voting for the same. Income and Profession seem to be least imp to men when they are evaluating a prospective bride. A similar sentiment was revealed by the parents of grooms as well.

Among the women who responded to the survey education, income and profession of the groom are the important factors that are considered when looking for their match. Parents of brides however are very particular about education as 40% of them have opted for the same. Physical appearance and current location of the groom is of least importance to the bride as well as their parents.
