Edge Metal Manufacturer Extends Finish Warranty by 10 Years

Hickman Company announces that their finish warranty for pre-finished metal for Hickman standard colors will change from a 20 year term to 30 years of coverage. The durable, high quality coil-coated metal is prefinished with Kynar 500® or Hylar 5000®, 70% PVDF paint.
All finish warranties issued on or after October 1, 2010 by the W. P. Hickman Company will cover 30 years from the date of shipment instead of the current 20 year coverage. The finish is warranted not to chip, peel, change color by more than 5 E units, or chalk in excess of an ASTM D 659-80 rating of 8 for a period of 30 years from the date of shipment.
