Eco-Friendly Physical Therapy Office Opens In Bowie, MD

A local physical therapist has partnered with a US Green Building Council LEED AP to design an eco-friendly treatment facility that itself is healthy for patients. Studies show that treatment facilities have an impact on recovery.

Bowie, MD (I-Newswire) March 30, 2011 - Premiere Physical Therapy has partnered with a US Green Building Council LEED AP to design an eco-friendly treatment facility that itself is healthy for patients.
"It's time healthcare practicioners considered their patients and employees when designing treatment spaces," said Chris Moline, LEED AP, who coordinated installation of cork flooring, zero-VOC paint, and natural materials throughout the small office.
By using natural light, less reliance is placed on harsh lighting typically found in healthcare offices and treatment rooms.
Sharon, the physical therapist, also has soft music in the background to complement the decor.
