He holds the distinction of being among the first group of Florida real estate attorneys to be board certified in 1987. Certified attorneys in real estate law deal with matters relating to real property transactions, such as real estate conveyances, title searches, leases, zoning and land use planning, real estate development, real estate litigation, and determination of property rights.
Board certification is The Florida Bar's highest evaluation of an attorney's competency and experience in one or more of the 24 areas of law approved for certification by the Supreme Court of Florida. Certification is valid for five years, during which time the attorney must continue to practice law and attend Florida Bar-approved continuing legal education courses.
