DWG Extends Its Largest Enablement Program
DWG has recently extended its agreement to continue to manage and maintain its largest Certified Technology Program currently in place with one of the world's largest Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers.
Atlanta, GA (I-Newswire) January 28, 2013 - DWG, an Atlanta‐based supply chain enablement company, announced today that it has recently extended its agreement to continue to manage and maintain its largest Certified Technology Program currently in place with one of the world’s largest Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) providers.
“We’re excited about the opportunity to continue to expand the program to more of our customer’s supply chain partners as well as include more certified technologies their partners can use to more effectively run their businesses,” said Andy Davies, President of Sales and Partner Management at DWG. “This particular CTP began in 2010 with an emphasis on B2B integration technologies and was expanded to include ERP solutions. In 2013 we’re looking to introduce supply chain management solutions such as demand planning and strategic planning to the program.”
DWG’s enablement programs are based upon the premise that traditional approaches to enablement programs for a customer or supplier community don’t work. Approaches that are mandate driven, only include one technology offering, and are driven solely by the value to the large enterprise are usually short-lived and rarely result in win-win situations for all participants.
DWG’s enablement programs, like the Certified Technology Program built by DWG for the world’s second largest international electronics contract manufacturer (www.flexctp.com), provides a way to enable a large‐enterprise to bring verified, reliable software and service offerings to its trading partners so that they can evaluate and choose the solutions that are right for them. A program may feature many types of technologies and delivery models, but the goal of increasing operational efficiency and technology adoption remains the same.
