Six months after undergoing weight loss surgery at Taiwan's Min-Sheng Hospital, a Dutch patient returns nearly sixty kilos (132 pounds) lighter to show off his new figure.

(I-Newswire) January 6, 2010 - Recently in China to attend an international trade fair, Dutch patient Marco d.L. flew to Taiwan’s Min-Sheng Hospital for a follow-up visit. Mr. d.L. underwent a mini gastric-bypass procedure in April 2009 at Min-Sheng Hospital, and was very keen to show his “new figure” to his surgeon, Professor Lee Wei-Jie, and the staff at the hospital.

The routine check-up revealed that Mr. d.L. had recovered wonderfully, and that his weight loss surgery had been a great success. Weighing 150 kilos (330 pounds) before the procedure, Marco has since lost nearly 60 kilos (132 pounds) and now weights 91 kilos (200 pounds). ”I have to spend a lot of money for new clothes that fit me lately” says Marco with a big smile.
